Ocean Tomo Federal Services, LLC -- a service disabled veteran-owned small business concern (“SDVOSB”) -- is the first and only integrated intellectual capital merchant banc® to focus on government entities and prime contractors to the U.S. Government.
We assist our clients – government entities and prime contractor entities - in realizing value from their intellectual capital equity®, including traditional IP assets (patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights). IP is increasingly important to the financial sector and the world economy. In today’s economic environment, IP is often the most effective asset an entity can have to establish competitive barriers to entry, maintain high margin business lines, and justify investments in R&D and innovation. Typical financial advisors, however, do not have a strong understanding of IP and generally do not address IP strategy. We recognize and capture the benefits inherent within the rapid growth of IP as an asset class.
